                  Served in the Massachusetts Provincial troops, a member of Captain John Goreham's company in the Plymouth Regiment during the Battle of Québec lead by Sir William Phips, from approximately August to November, 1690.[1386] He and Sarah Remick were associated circa Nov 1690; when Barnabas began supporting Sarah and her daughter, possibly from November, 1690.[1387] He and Sarah Remick were living in 1695 at Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts Bay, British America.[1388] He and Sarah Remick were living in 1703 at Yarmouth, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts Bay, British America.[1382],[1389] He and Sarah Remick lived in 1711 at Dennis Port, Yarmouth, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts Bay, British America.[1390] Barnabas owned land in Eastham.[1391] Barnabas served with the Massachusetts Provincial troops intermittently during "Indian Wars" known also as Dummer's War and the Three Years War.                     Prence, also known as Prince, was named for previous Governor of Plymouth Colony Thomas Prence, to whom Prence's grandfather Robert Wixam was indentured.[1409] Several generations are known for Prence.[1405]

                      He emigrated on 6 Oct 1683 to Pennsylvania Colony, British America; arriving from London on the "Concord", travelling with "Thones Kunders, William Streepers, Reynier Tyson and altogether some thirty-two liberty seeking families who founded Germantown."[1440] He was chosen constable of the town in 1691, burgess in 1694, sheriff in 1695, and bailiff in 1702. He prospered in the New Settlement and in 1709 acquired a plantation of five hundred acres in Towamencin Township.[1441]
